In this approach, the 3D is split into slices which may be viewed one at a time. The depth of these layers is defined either by the Vertical Layers step (Set Vertical Layers) for data layers or by defining the grid (Setting Up The Grid) for model layers.
In the following image, the 3D volume is divided into layers and shown one at a time.
Note that polygons, which are only available in an easting-northing view, may be applied to all layers or to select layers through the set vertical layers step.
